CHRISTINE ADIAZ MUSIC

Christine Adiaz began singing at the age of 3, & playing the piano at 5.  This dynamic belter was born in Manila, raised in San Francisco, and now resides in Oakland, California.  At a very early age, Christine’s always dreamed of singing in front of people - a lot of people; and even with no formal vocal training, her talent for music constantly took her to new heights.

Christine has won multiple piano and vocal competitions including the Female Vocalist of the Year category at the Pinnacle Fantasy Talent Showcase, and Wild 94.9/Nickelodeon's SF Karaoke Competition where she was awarded an all expense paid trip to Nassau, Bahamas.  She has also graced Concord California's Chronicle Pavillion stage singing with Rock & Roll legend Rod Stewart in front of 12,000+ spectators.  If that was not enough, she aimed for a bigger, tougher, crowd… the sports fans at AT & T Park both in 2001 and 2002.  Christine belted out the National Anthem in front of 40,000+ Giants fans, an experience that Christine described as “a memory to last a lifetime.”  Despite these accomplishments, when asked what her proudest moments are, her answer surprises many... Christine says, "It's true that the big stints and big competitions are always nerve-racking and very memorable but what I most enjoy is singing in front of our church congregation on Sundays. That is where I sing the best because I know I have the best company, my Heavenly Father.

Christine has been a soloist and accompanist at St. Augustine Church in South San Francisco since 1992.  A few years ago, while hanging out one evening in church, she heard the angelic voices of the St. Augustine Children's Choir.  Since then, she has been working with them as conductor, and hopefully, a mentor for the children.  

To date, Christine continues to be a favorite at Bay Area weddings, private functions and corporate events.  With her influences ranging from the “Queen of Soul”, Aretha Franklin, to “Showstopper”, Liza Minelli, all the way to “International Pop Sensation”, Celine Dion, Christine Adiaz’ live performances are definitely a must see!
